Best Maine Wedding Photographer

We are a Husband & Wife Photography Duo

Ever wish you could be in two places at once? I have the unique privilege and honor of photographing with my husband, Jeremy. Together we are a highly compatible, creative photography team. Like it or not your wedding day will fly by quickly, but it will be chock-full of priceless moments you’ll want to hang on to. All of these moments are happening in various locations, possibly at the same time, and it’s impossible to capture all of them. Our awesome two photographer team essentially allows me to be in two places at once, therefore, together we have greater opportunity to capture more of these wonderful moments.

While I’m snapping close-ups of your first kiss, Jeremy might be photographing mom’s reaction. During your first dance, we can shoot two different angles of this priceless moment. It’s a phenomenal team effort which leads to an enjoyable, stress-free experience for you and results in exceptional photos. Jeremy and I know each other so well and have photographed many weddings together, our bond and experience set the foundation for an amazing photography team. We believe you deserve the best for the most important day of your life! In essence, having double coverage for your wedding day is so important! We wouldn’t want you to have it any other way.

The Knot - Maine Wedding Photographer

“Catherine and Jeremy were a pleasure to work with; they took the time to get to know John and I and this was reflected in the final product.  Our pictures are moments captured that we will treasure forever, and they were able to capture our true selves at our happiest moments. We couldn’t be more pleased with their service, attention to detail, patience and final results!” – Sarah & John

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a first look?

A first look is a special and private moment for the bride and groom to see each other before walking down the aisle. These intimate settings allow for amazing pictures in a controlled environment. It will set the atmosphere for amazing photos of your groom’s reaction. It also allows the bride and groom to get out those nervous jitters prior to the ceremony and will allow you to focus on the ceremony itself. I highly recommend a first look!

How and when should I book a photographer?

I like to book weddings 8-12 months in advance. I usually keep a few dates open for those last minute weddings. Please feel free to get in touch with your wedding date to start!

Do you have a second shooter?

I believe it is essential that you have a team of two highly skilled and compatible photographers to capture the most important day of your life. My husband and I know each other so well it allows us to work together in ways no other photography team can. I wouldn’t want anything less for my own wedding, and I want the best for you.

What is a Timeline?

Planning a wedding can be stressful, especially when it comes time to coordinate all of the events taking place on your wedding day. We will work with you to create a timeline and help you schedule out the day, making sure to leave enough time for photos!

Do you travel?

I do travel! Most of my weddings are along the coast of Maine, however, I do travel outside of the state and country! Any travel over 150 miles round trip will be subject to the standard IRS travel rate. If accommodations or other means of travel are deemed necessary, we ask the client to arrange those. If you think your wedding will require some travel, please get in touch with me and let’s chat!

How many photos do you take?

Every wedding is different, but you would receive anywhere from 600-900 photos. I never put a limit on a number of photos taken during the wedding day.

Can I print my photos?

The client is always granted print rights to their photos. I also offer professional quality prints, high-end books and albums

What if it rains?

No one wants a rainy wedding day, but I can and will make the best of it. I’ll do my best to find those indoor settings that will provide beautiful backdrops for your photos. It’s always a good idea to have a backup plan, keep this in mind when choosing your venue.

What can I expect after the wedding?

You can expect to receive your photos in about 6-8 weeks during the busy season. This allows time to sort and edit all of the photos, selecting the best of the best.
